Airline’s first aircraft with Star Alliance livery unveiled to Industry’s Top CEOS at Newark Liberty Airport

The company completed the airline’s first A/C 120 to don the Star Alliance livery at an induction event at Newark Liberty Airport. The aircraft was proudly unveiled to all 25 airline member CEOs along with international media, who gathered to witness Continental’s transition to the Star Alliance Network.

Unveiled in dramatic fashion behind a hangar-wide velvet curtain, the A/C 120 was painted and prepped at Leading Edge’s Amarillo, TX facility, which has been engineered to handle virtually every aircraft in the Continental fleet.
