We had a great time at this year’s MRO Americas conference in Miami, and we hope you did too. MRO is an important event for Leading Edge, and we’d like to sincerely thank all of you that came by our booth to toast over two decades in business.
For those of you who could not make it, you missed one of the best MRO Americas yet. Set in tropical Miami, the show had a tremendous turn out and virtually every company involved in the support of the commercial and military aviation industries was there ready to share, mix, mingle and of course, to do a little business too.
For us, there’s no better place than MRO Americas to connect with our customers, share ideas, and to continue building relationships that are vital to our success. And of course, it’s also a showpiece for the industry’s latest technology – technology that we continually adopt to enhance our quality, efficiency, and to stay two steps ahead of the competition.
We’re thrilled you could make the time to see us at MRO, and thank you again for your continued business and support. We’re already planning for next year’s event, which, as always, will have the ultimate Leading Edge mix of business with fun! PBS is gearing up for a new show on airline maintenance, and Leading Edge is on of its new stars. A crew from CBS was at MRO Americas to take a look at the latest industry happenings, and how companies were marketing themselves in the current economy. Attention quickly turned to Leading Edge when they saw the company’s three dazzling air marshallers directing people to its booth.
“It was a really fun experience. Cameras followed the marashaller girls all around the show floor while they worked their marketing magic,” said Dave Patterson. “Then PBS conducted some on-camera interviews with several of our staff to get our perspective on how things were going at the show, and to get a better idea of what we do as a company. It’ll be interesting to see how this comes out when it airs later this year.”
The producers selected Leading Edge Aviation for what they called our “extravagant marketing efforts” and reputation for being innovative. “People were actually telling them to come to our booth,” added Patterson “because they knew we’d be doing something that’s a little out of the ordinary. Ordinary or not, I’d say its working. We’re all looking forward to seeing the final outcome this fall on PBS.”
